Happy Thanksgiving! It's time to be prepared and stock up on herbs for the cold season ahead. The Northern Winds will be offering 15% off any herb purchases over $10. Blog for November 19th, 2008

Our new herbs are in! We now have red clover blossoms, american mandrake, mistletoe, orris root, true cinnamon, elder berries and lemon balm. We just placed a large book and calendar order, they should be in at the end of November. We also have many new chalices, boxes, athames, incense, blank books of shadows, new stickers and windchimes coming in next week, these are great gift ideas for the holidays.
Our class schedule through February was just updated, you can see it at www.thenorthernwinds.com We have some great new classes coming up including Cord magic, symbols and sigils, runes, Yule incense, dream pillows, drum and chant, herbs, and Pantheon specific classes for Greco-Roman and Celtic. For those that attend classes on aregular basis, please be aware that we are now entering through the turquiose gate just north of the Fantasia main entrance instead of through Fantasia. Also be aware that the classes are starting at 6pm sharp and once the door is closed there will be no entry for that class. This will help prevent the teachers from having to start over each time some one arrives late.

Hello, we want to thank everyone for making the Samhain and Winter Nights celbration a great success! We raised $416 for Feathered Hearts and some much needed money for a Pagan family in need. We have some great new tunics, belts and bags in from Museum replicas, these items will make great gifts for the Ren faire person in your family. We have some cauldrons, athames, books of shadows, stickers and crystal balls on the way, they should be in within 2 weeks. Our once a year jewelry lady came in last week, we have lots of new silver pendants as well as a good selection of bronze Norse pendants. Get them now, we will have no more until next year. The Northern Winds is celebrating our 2 year anniversary in October! To say thank you to our customers we are offering 15% off of any purchases over $20 for the weekend of October 10th - 12th. In addition we will have a sidewalk sale from 12-5pm on Sunday October 12th.
The Norse Wolfpack will be there with some great Pagan items for fundraising purposes, come and show your support for our community!
We have some great news this month, our store and classroom size has grown!! We will offer a seperate private room for the psychic readers, which means we will have much more space for classes, special events and great new merchandise!
The Northern Winds will be closed on October 18th but will be set up at this year's Phoenix Pagan Pride day at Phoenix college from 10am-4pm. (Fantasia will be open normal hours this day) For Pagan Pride Day, I will be offering a free runic candle magick class, have a booth for the store and help with the booth for The Norse Wolfpack. News and updates for September 8th

Hello everyone, we have some exciting new classes scheduled for the next three months, check them out on our website. We just received new clothing (we have some childrens shirts as well), cloaks, candles, cds, hand carved jet athames, jewelry (including moldavite & alexandrite) and more! We are expecting more jewelry this week (including new Norse designs), as well as some items new to our store including some interesting "witchy" pens, spellbooks and journals. news and updates 8/18/08

Hello, welcome to our new Blog! This blog will replace the message board and will make it easier for you to leave comments and questions. I'll post something new at least once a week, if not more, so check back often!
Things are flowing very smoothly at the store this week. We are working on some great small brooms for decoration and magickal purposes. We will have a protection one for your car or home as well as some for the fall! We are gearing up for Pagan Pride Day and The Norse Wolfpack's Samhain event. We hope to have a good assortment of hand made items for both events. I will be busy at Pagan Pride day, I will have The Northern Winds booth as well as The Norse Wolfpack booth, and have been asked to be a speaker for the event. I'm thankful to have friends and family that are going to pitch in and help me out. Our next Wiccan meet-up is September 12th and we will have Bronwynn Torgerson as a guest that evening, teaching us warding magick! The new class schedule has been posted on the website. Anyone who missed the first wort-cunning (herb magick) class, don't miss the one in September! Scot is a great teacher and offers "hands on" activities for us. New cds are in from Niyaz, Deva Premal, Stellamara, Azam Ali, Solace and Steven Halpern!

The Norse God and Goddess oils are in and smell great.

We received a small order of tank tops, shirts and longsleeves from The Mountian (great faeries, dragons, nature, wizards, etc) and decided we liked them well enough to order 50+ shirts that should be in later this week. We have many new books in stock and placed our order for he Witches calenders, datebooks, magickal almanacs, dragon calendars and more for 2009, they should be in within a week. We will also order and carry the 7th house 'seasons of the witch' datebooks and calenders. We have on order some great items for the fall include books on ghosts, hauntings, spirit contact and much more, as well as some great 'darker' tarot decks and gear.
